As such, the Master Plan is intended to act as a set of design guidelines which may be applied to future Pyrmont Bridge road layouts. The work will entail the creation of a boulevard, with a tree lined road and two one way separated cycleways, one each side of the road. Route D3 Iron Cove to Anzac Bridge - To undertake a feasibility study, concept design and detailed design for Route D3, Iron Cove to Anzac Bridge, Rozelle (Lilyfield Rd) cycleway. The project involves feasibility investigation work on a number of options for cycleway along Lilyfield Road and the work on supplementary routes. With Council proposing to upgrade cycle facilities in Rozelle and along Lilyfield Rd, previous investigations and community engagements resulted in the concept option put forward by Council being largely rejected by the community. As a result, Council has re-engaged with the community to seek feedback on a number of alternatives so that Council can progress with an option that the community support. The adopted option to move forward along Lilyfield Rd, is the provision of an on road cycle facility, comprising cycle lanes on sections with an uphill gradient and a mixed traffic profile where cyclists share the traffic lane with vehicles on downhill sections; and In addition, due to feedback about the steepness of Lilyfield Rd at the western end, supplementary routes were developed in collaboration with the Local Bicycle User Groups, and these were included in the engagement process to determine the community’s preference for an alternative route with more gentle gradients The Lilyfield Rd Project is funded by TfNSW Funding for the supplementary routes is to be considered in future IWC budgets Simpson Park Lighting Upgrade - Description of project Solar and Energy Efficiency Projects - Solar and Energy Efficiency Projects Sporting Grounds - Sand Grooving - Sand grooving to sporting grounds and Leichhardt Oval No2 embankment extension.
