Powering our facilities with solar

Some of our most loved community and recreation buildings generate their own solar power. On-site solar reduces carbon emissions and saves money on electricity bills.

Over 800kW of solar panels are generating power at 38 Council facilities, including pools, libraries, early learning centres and offices. We will continue to install solar power on more facilities over time.
