Smith, Hogan and Spindlers Parks

Hogan Park is home to the Johnstons Creek Aqueduct, one of the first uses of reinforced concrete in Sydney and Australia. The Aqueduct was built in 1897 and the slender proportions of the supporting arches make it not only functional, but also a major landmark for Sydney. Spindlers Park has a children's playground, cricket pitch and small grassed area with trees. Smith Park links through to Bicentennial Park in Glebe.
