Our six week programs are perfect for group fitness beginners and have been specially designed to build on your skills week by week. By the end of these programs you will have the experience and confidence to participate in any class.
Family Yoga
Suitable for beginners and kids 11+
Join our six-week beginner-friendly yoga course for parents and kids (aged 11 and over), designed to build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness while creating a fun and meaningful bonding experience for the whole family.
When: Saturdays at 2pm starting 10 May 2025
Six-week course cost per adult:
- Inner West Fitness Pass members: $86.80
- Casual: $172.20
Six-week course cost per child (11-16 years): $86.80
Yoga Fundamentals
Ideal for beginners
Curious about yoga but not sure where to start? Learn about the background of yoga and some of the many movement and breathing practices that people find beneficial for their health and wellbeing in our six-week program.
These workshop-style sessions will look at the groups of postures: lying, seated, standing, inversions, balances, and relate these to movements of the 5 spinal movements. Learn some tips for safe yoga practice, including modifications and approaches that can help you enjoy yoga even more!
This course is suitable for people with little or no yoga experience, as well as anyone who has done yoga classes but would like to learn some more.
When: Sundays at 5.30pm starting 18 May 2025
