Resourcing Strategy
The Resourcing Strategy shows what
funds, assets and people Council will need to deliver on the community's
priorities as set out in the Community Strategic Plan (CSP). It consists of asset, workforce and financial plans spanning up to 20 years.
Asset Management
Council has an Asset Management Strategy and four sub plans for specific types of assets:
- Parks and Sporting Grounds Asset Management Plan
- Property Asset Management
- Stormwater and Drainage Asset Management Plan
- Transport Asset Management Plan
Asset Management Strategy
The Asset Management Strategy 2022-32 includes:
- How we achieve and deliver asset management practices
- How we provide alignments between our stakeholder requirements
- Information about the role of the Asset Management System

The purpose of the Parks and Sporting Grounds Asset Management Plan 2022-32 is to:
- Inform Council's commitment to best practice asset management
- Provide principles for sound parks and sporting grounds (open spaces) asset investment decision making
- Guide and improve Council's long-term strategic management of its open spaces
- Define the state of Council's open space assets at the 2022 Financial year
- Identify the 10-year funding required to achieve Council's adopted asset performance targets and planned activities

The purpose of the Property Asset Management Plan 2022-32 is to:
- Inform Council's commitment to best practice asset management
- Provide principles for sound building asset investment decision making
- Guide and improve Council's long term strategic management of its buildings and major structures (property building assets)
- Define the state of Council's building assets as at the 2022 Financial Year
- Identify the 10-year funding required to achieve Council's adopted asset performance targets and planned activities

- Define the state of Council's stormwater assets as at the 2022 Financial Year
- Identify the 10-year funding required to achieve Council's adopted asset performance targets and planned activities

The purpose of the Transport Asset Management Plan 2022-32 is to:
- Inform Council's commitment to best practice asset management
- Provide principles for sound asset investment decision making in its transportation network
- Guide and improve Council's long term strategic management of its roads, paths, kerbs, bridges, traffic management devices and street furniture
- Define the state of Council's transport assets as at the 2022 Financial Year
- Identify the 10-year funding required to achieve Council's adopted asset performance targets and planned activities

Long Term Financial Plan
The purpose of the Long Term Financial Plan 2024-34 is to ensure that Council is financially sustainable whilst achieving the outcomes of the Community Strategic Plan.
Workforce Management Strategy
The purpose of the Workforce Management Strategy 2022-26 is to:
- Identify current and future staffing needs on the basis of current information
- Focus on retaining existing staff
- Attract new staff to ensure we have the right number of people
