Transurban and Inner West Council meeting on blue-green algae bloom

A meeting was held today at the Rozelle Parklands Wetlands site between officers of Inner West Council and Transurban to discuss the remediation of the blue-green algal bloom in the park.

Both parties are working collaboratively to address the blue-green algal bloom in the wetlands with Transurban continuing to treat the bloom at this stage with manual removal.

Transurban advised that a Management Plan is being developed to address the issues that created the bloom in the first instance and will be keeping Inner West Council informed as the Management Plan is finalised.
