Inner West Council is inviting local artists to submit ideas for the exhibition of artworks at the Newtown ArtSeat and Chrissie Cotter Gallery in 2022.
Council’s award-winning ArtSeat is a permanent structure located in Newtown Square which provides local, emerging and established artists a space where experimental and non-commercial art can be showcased.
Incorporating public seating and lighting, the Art Seat is also a landmark meeting point in Newtown.
The Newtown ArtSeat is an initiative of Inner West Council, with support from Arts NSW and City of Sydney.
Council’s Chrissie Cotter Gallery is a free gallery space available to emerging and established Inner West artists.
Applications for the 2021 ArtSeat and Chrissie Cotter Gallery program close Monday 11 October, 4pm.
