What to do when Solar Feed-in Tariffs end this year

The Solar Feed-in Tariff or Solar Bonus Scheme in NSW ends in December 2016. The Green Living Centre is organising a workshop, ‘Life after Feed-in Tariff’, that explains what this means for households with rooftop solar.

Workshop details: 24 September
10.30am-12.30pm
Newtown Neighbourhood Centre
1 Bedford Street, Newtown 2042

Residents who have invested in solar will be hit with a higher electricity bill next year when the solar feed-in tariff ends. The money they will receive back for solar generation will fall from the current levels of 20 or 60 cents per kWh to around 6 cents per kWh.

The Green Living Centre has received many queries from locals who are confused about the information being provided by electricity retailers and the state government.

This workshop, delivered by community energy expert Tom Nockolds, will present the five most important steps to take before the scheme ends in December.

Places are limited, book now: http://greenlivingcentre.eventbrite.com
