Attendees should bring a jar (big enough to fit their hands in), but most importantly, their dreams and imagination. Wednesday 28 September, 11am-12pm at St Peters/Sydenham Library.

Lafcadio: A Ghost Story, as part of Sydney Fringe (ages 5-12)
The show is a hilarious reimagining of Kwaidan, an anthology of ghoulish Japanese tales by Lafcadio Hearn. So that’s the “boo” where’s the “boom”? Accompanying Sean is Taikoz’s Sophie Unsen and her little friend the taiko, Japanese for ‘big drum’. Sophie’s taiko creates a thrilling live soundtrack to the spooky silliness of Sean’s storytelling. An enthralling physical comedy that will have audiences gasping and giggling in equal measure, it’s 60 minutes like no other! Thursday 29 September, 2pm-3pm at Marrickville Town Hall. www.marrickvillelibrary.eventbrite.com.au
