Night tree works in Balmain and Balmain East

Inner West Council contractor Treescape Australasia will undertake night-time street tree pruning works in Balmain and Balmain East in January 2022.

The trees are located in areas where daytime access is difficult and would cause too much disruption.

Work will occur on the nights of the 24, 25, 27 and 28 January 2022 between 8pm and 4.30am.

Low level machinery noise is likely but will be kept to a minimum.

All works will be undertaken in accordance with Council's Street Tree Pruning Guidelines. The work includes removal of deadwood and ensuring good access for people and vehicles.

The work is part of the Council’s commitment to high quality tree management throughout the Inner West.
