Weekend Waste Transfer Station OPEN. Community Recycling Centre CLOSED.

Due to a fire at a Cleanaway recycling facility in St Mary’s, Council’s Community Recycling Centres are closed until further notice, anticipated to reopen in March. The Leichhardt Weekend Transfer Station is still open and can accept e-waste (50 - 54 Moore St, Leichhardt). Sorry, NO paints or chemicals. For more information see Community recycling centres - Inner West Council

All NSW councils (and Community Recycling Centres) are affected by this event, meaning that chemicals, paints and gas bottles can’t be collected by the contractor and licencing does not allow for additional storage of these items onsite.

Thank you for your patience and we request that you to hold onto your paints and other hazardous wastes until we can reopen.
