In a time of change and activism, this is an exhibition that considers connecting and contrasting perspectives on a global scale. Climate crisis, animal welfare and the disparity of human rights across the globe cannot be ignored. The exhibiting artists have been asked to consider, “How they place their work in the world? MakerSpace & Company is a shared workshop and education centre for design entrepreneurs. We provide members with access to cutting-edge technology, machinery and skill development in a co-working environment. The Bower Reuse and Repair Centre Artists will be displaying their work at MakerSpace during the Creative Trails event. The art exhibition, Art from Trash, encourages artists to create works reusing or up cycling items that would otherwise be discarded as waste. MakerSpace designers will be showcasing their skills in a variety of departmental workshops including textiles, ceramics, metal and digital workshops.

Feltwide Studio
Feltwilde is a studio-based practice run by fibre artist Gill Brooks, specialising in the ancient craft of felt-making and running workshops for textile enthusiasts. Artists include Gill Brooks and Romana Toson.

Christina Mclean is the multi-disciplinary artist behind Trade the Mark. An art and design studio,currently focusing on hand thrown and painted ceramic vessels, bespoke art pieces and textile design.
