Saturday 9 November, 10am to 11.45am shibori pty ltd, Shop 30A Salisbury Rd, Stanmore Furoshiki wrapping and Itajime Indigo Dyeing Workshop. This class allows people to start their shibori journey by learning how to create fabulous indigo cloth that can be used  as wrapping for presents in traditional Japanese furoshiki. Fun and environmental friendly as the cloth can be reused by the gift receiver.  Book online
 Saturday 9 November, 10am to 4pm The Selvedge Society, 132 Percival Rd, Stanmore The Selvedge Society is seeking your contribution to make a collective community quilt. Come into The Selvedge Society over the Creative Trails weekend and embroider, paint, draw, appliqué and block print a fabric square (or 2) that will be made into a quilt. Contribute To An Interactive Arts Project "IN TRANSIT : Random Acts of Kindness" With Roomies Arts and Jeff McCann

Roomies Arts - Artist and designer Jeff McCann will be working with Roomies artists on an interactive arts project. ‘IN TRANSIT: Random Acts of Kindness’ is an interactive art event that explores the experience of being a person on busy public transport. We will be creating a temporary train station platform for people to exchange random acts of kindness.The public will be welcome to join in.

Michelle Morcos Artist Talks And Demonstrations

Michele Morcos will be working on coil weaving and drawing projects in the gallery for the day and will be speaking about her work and giving demonstrations on the techniques and ideas that run through her multimedia art practice.

Make A Stuffed Fabric Sculpture Or Contribute To A Live Painting With Artist Sarah Harvie

Sarah Harvie will be working on small fabric stuffed sculptures and live painting onto work, public are invited to join in a contribute to the work or take home their own mini stuffed sculpture.
