Now more than ever
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will —and must —continue.
For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, let’s choose to create a more just, equitable and reconciled country for all.
More than a word. Reconciliation takes action, urges the reconciliation movement towards braver and more impactful action.
Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians – as individuals, families, communities, organisations and importantly as a nation. At the heart of this journey are relationships between the broader Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Inner West Council acknowledges that this land area traditionally belonged to the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation.
