My Plate, Your Plate

Learn to make spiced Iraqi tea and try homemade Persian rice pudding while hearing stories of food making from around the world. 

My Plate, Your Plate is a storytelling and community arts cooking project where participants share recipes and stories that are taken into the public realm through an interactive storytelling food cart. The project builds relationships between local residents and people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds, breaking down social isolation, building cultural awareness and solidarity. Our cart was launched on 23 April 2022 and continues to tour around the inner west and beyond.

Latin Vibes' Mariachi Trio  

Roving performances between 12 and 2pm  

For more than 20 years, Latin Vibes has dedicated its passion and talents to bring some of the world’s most beautiful South American and Mexican music to Sydney audiences. 

Kick back while this talented Mariachi trio serenades you over lunch, bringing the vibrancy of Mexico's traditional markets and fiestas to your table. 

Living Room Theatre

The Living Room Theatre - whose Summer Hill venue will open in late 2025 - performs an evocative vignette from their new work in development, Ostinato. 
Created by Artistic Director Michelle St Anne, Ostinato features the improvising talents of Natalia Ladyko (performer), Jim Denley (saxophone), Daniel Raymond (drums) and Alex Tucker (saxophone).
Follow the performance as it winds through the heart of Summer Hill village... Come feel and be moved.
