Victoria Square Reserve

Victoria Square is one of the most intact remnant examples of Sydney Turpentine Ironbark Forest in the Inner West, with over 25 surviving plant species from pre-colonisation.

This important Natural Area is cared for by Council to promote conservation and natural heritage outcomes. Mowing ceased in a section of Victoria Square in 2020 and assisted natural regeneration works are undertaken to protect species diversity, preserve valuable remnant vegetation, and increase biodiversity.
