Overview

These enquiry-based site studies and accompanying historical resources are designed for the NSW School Years 7-10 History Syllabus.

Developed for secondary school History teachers in conjunction with professional historians and archaeologists, they connect students and teachers to the Inner West Community History collection and archives.

Teachers have everything they need for an online site study or a site visit. The latter can be undertaken as a class or in the student’s own time.

The studies are designed so that students can develop analytical skills and use historical sources to undertake an historical inquiry and communicate their results.  The studies focus on the location's change over time.
