History of Dawn Fraser Baths

Dawn Fraser Baths, built in the 1880s, is the oldest pool and swimming club in Australia.

It is a tidal salt water pool located in Elkington Park, Balmain. At low tide we even have a beach to build sandcastles. Link to Sydney Tide Tables here. (PDF 1.1MB)

The baths structure is listed on the National Trust and on the Register of the National Estate
