Adults
We currently offer three types of Adult Learn to Swim classes:
- Beginners
- Intermediate
- Stroke correction
The classes run for 45-minutes with our industry-professional instructors to cater to all swimming abilities. The number of students in our learn to swim classes is as follows:
- Learn to Swim: 7 maximum
- Stroke Correction: 8 maximum
Adult learn to swim - beginner
This class is for people who:
- Are non-swimmers
- Are unable to exhale under water or put face in water
- Have no swimming experience
- Cannot float
Adult learn to swim - intermediate
This class is for people who:
- Are able to submerge under water
- Have some swimming experience
- Can propel through water with a rudimentary breaststroke or freestyle for 5 to 10 metres
Adult stroke correction
This class is for people who:
- Are capable swimmers
- Have basic stroke and breathing skills
- Can swim 25 to 50 metres
- Want to build stamina
- Want to improve stroke efficiency
