Group fitness
Group fitness classes are held in the creche as well as on the gym floor.

Health and fitness
This area contains a wide range of cardio and resistance machines as well as a large selection of free weights.
Kiosk and sundeck
Our kiosk offers a variety of hot and cold snack meals. Take the opportunity to sit and relax after a workout and enjoy a light snack meal or visit the café and relax with a coffee and paper.
Crèche
Open
Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 12.30pm
The crèche caters for children between the ages of 8 weeks and until they turn 6 years.
The service is for a maximum of two hours while carers are on site.
It offers members and patrons an opportunity to pursue their health and fitness needs while their children are cared for by professional and friendly staff.

Change rooms
The centre has large male and female change areas which include accessible facilities.
A family change room area is located off the 50m pool, which also includes accessible facilities.
The gym includes two unisex bathrooms.
Indoor 50m pool
Opening hours
Monday to Friday: 6am to 8.30pm
Saturday: 6am to 6.30pm
Sunday and Public Holidays: 7am to 6.30pm
The 50m pool is the most used pool at the venue. The pool has 8 lanes
and ranges from a minimum depth of 1.2m to 2m. The bulk of public
leisure, lap and squad swimming happens here. This indoor heated pool
is open all year round and also has a boom option to service different
programs.
Indoor toddlers pool
The indoor toddler's pool is a varying depth leisure area that is open year round. This pool includes water features for the whole family to enjoy.
Indoor program pool
Our indoor program pool is commonly used for programs such as learn to swim and shallow water aqua. This pool is available for general use outside program times.
Accessibility
Marked mobility parking spaces are available on Black Street adjacent to AKAC. The centre includes the following accessibility features:
- Access ramps in both the 50m pool and program pool
- 'Wet wheelchairs' are available for use
- Our 50m pool includes a hoist to assist entry to the water
- Accessible change rooms throughout the centre
- Multi-use family change rooms fitted with duress alarms
- Lift to access gym facilities
- Wheel chair accessible resistance and cardio equipment
- Hydraulic circuit
