Opening hours
Health and fitness
Monday to Friday: 6am to 9pm
Saturday: 6am to 7pm
Sunday and public holidays: 7am to 7pm
Pools
Monday to Friday: 6am to 8.30pm
Saturday: 6am to 6.30pm
Sunday and public holidays: 7am to 6.30pm
Creche
Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 12.30pm
The creche will be closed from 23 December 2023 and will reopen on Monday 15 January 2024.
Transport
Train
From Sydenham Station
An 19 minute walk (1.5km) from Sydenham Station (T2 Inner West & South, T3 Bankstown, T4 Illawarra and T8 South lines). Sydenham station is an accessible station with lifts and boarding assistance available.
From St Peters Station
An 18 minute walk (1.4km) from St Peters Station (T2 Inner West & South, T3 Bankstown, T4 Illawarra and T8 South lines). St Peters station is not currently an accessible location, however is in the process of an upgrade to install lifts that is expected to be completed in 2023.
Bike
The Inner West Cycling Map (PDF 2.9MB) shows options for cycling in the area.
There is designated bicycle parking located just outside the main entrance.
Bus
AKAC is an easy two-minute walk from frequent Sydney Buses services that stop on Enmore road adjacent to Enmore Park (routes 423 to Metro 30 shown below). AKAC is a four-minute walk from Sydney Buses services that stop at Marrickville Metro (routes 308 to 355 shown below). All bus services have some accessible services except for route 355. Go to the TransportInfo website for bus timetables and accessible services.

Parking
Car parking is available in the surrounding streets, however availability may be limited. Untimed parking is available on Llewellyn Street and Victoria Road.
The following parking time limits will apply:
- Maximum of 2 hour parking from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 12pm Saturday and Sunday on Black Street
