PRUAIP - Rofe Street

• Project address:  Rofe Street between Parramatta Rd and Jarrett St, Leichhardt
• Project Description: Design  & construction for public domain improvements to Rofe St, Leichhardt perpendicular to Parramatta Road:

- Streetscape improvements include improved stormwater drainage, lifting and replacing cracked and uneven footpath pavements, new street tree planting, understory mass planting, and new street furniture. This providing a safer surface for walking and so engendering a sense of pride in the appearance of the public domain.

-Other works include underground electricity and new multifunction light poles

• Progress: Works are completed  

  - Council officers commenced the Master Plan in 2018

  - Project was planned and finalised in 2019

  - Construction started Jan 2020

  - The project is fully funded by NSW DPI&E
