Local Democracy Groups
Local Democracy Groups are made up of community members and are a part of Council's Community Engagement Strategy (PDF 2.6MB). Their role is to provide input to support Council’s decision-making and actions. The current term runs from September 2024 to September 2028.
Vacancies and recruitment
Currently we are not recruiting for our Local Democracy Groups.
If vacancies occur within the groups, an annual recruitment will take place. Positions will be advertised on our engagement platform, Your Say Inner West. You can register to the platform and can choose the option to receive notifications to make sure you don't miss out on an opportunity.
