Fuel Creativity at EDGE Art Camp on the GreenWay

Over 12 days, EDGE Art Camp on the GreenWay will see nature and creativity converge in a dynamic, immersive arts hub on the banks of Iron Cove Bay at Lilyfield.
Audiences can book in for workshops, panel discussions and pop-up performances throughout the program or wander the site and BYO picnic for live music and art performances.
The multidisciplinary art showcase and Artist in Residence project features over 50 Inner West artists, environmental groups and more.
There’s free guided tours on Saturday and Sunday, 14 and 15 May and 21 and 22 May, 11am - 12.30pm.
Highlights of EDGE Art Camp on the GreenWay include:
•The Muso’s Picnic
Saturdays and Sundays, 14 - 22 May, 1pm - 4pm. Gather friends and family, bring a picnic and enjoy music by local musicians curated from Trevor Brown’s Little Black Book of sound artists.
•GreenWay Icons
Saturday 15 May, 12 noon – 2pm. Listen to historians, activists, nature lovers, the community and creatives share stories and enjoy a free community picnic
•Augmented Reality
Saturday 14 May. A virtual journey around the Gadigal Wangal Wayfinding Project beautiful artworks that celebrate the continuing presence of Aboriginal people within the Inner West.
•Square Peg Animation Studio
Saturday 14 May, 10am – 4pm. A pop-up animation studio, creating a space for creatives and animators to respond to the natural environment.
•GreenWay Unknowns (pictured)
Saturday 14 May, 10am – 5pm. Gabrielle Bates’ photos visualise monsters, guardians and spirits who share the GreenWay with us.
•Shaun Parker & Co - Physical Theatre work in development
Sunday 15 May, 12 noon – 4pm. An exciting EDGE GreenWay Art Camp Residency creative development of new works FOUND OBJECTS and HOVER, with pop-up performances and interactive workshops featuring outstanding dancers Libby Montilla, Joel Fenton, Romain Hassanin and Samuel Beazley, and showcasing the stunning music of Nick Wales.
