St Peters Library temporary closure

St Peters/Sydenham Library will close from Saturday, 10 August, for essential upgrades to the building.
The upgrade includes important accessibility improvements, including installation of a wheelchair ramp and a lift. The accessibility toilet will also be upgraded.
The upgrade to St Peters/Sydenham Library is part of an exciting suite of changes at many of Inner West Council’s libraries. These include:
• The $4 million Haberfield Centre and Library and Mervyn Fletcher Hall upgrade which is expected to commence by end of 2019. The Haberfield Centre and Library will be closed for approximately 12 months.
• The grand opening of the spectacular new state-of-the-art Marrickville Library on Saturday, 31 August.
Library users are urged to take advantage of Council’s seven other Inner West Library branches during the temporary closures.
For St Peters/Sydenham users, the closest is Marrickville Library. For Haberfield Centre and Library, the closest is Ashfield Library.
