‘Love your life’ at Inner West Council’s Seniors Festival
Find new ways to ‘Love your life’ by trying out one of the many activities or programs at the 2019 Inner West Seniors Festival.
The festival will run from Wednesday, 13 February to Sunday, 24 February 2019.
Inner West Council’s Seniors Festival is part of NSW Seniors Festival. Now in its 61st year, NSW Seniors Festival recognises the important role seniors play in society as well as the contributions they make.
The highlight of Inner West Council’s festival will be ‘It’s a Seniors A Fair’ at Addison Road Community Centre on Wednesday 20 February with a range of fun activities including:
•An antiques showcase where seniors can bring their wares and have them valued
•Salsa for seniors
•Multi award-winning comedy magician Matt Hollywood
•Expo stalls with local information and activities
•Free sausage sizzle, gelato cart, face painting for children, giveaways and much more

Addison Road Community Centre is the home of many community services like Radio Skid Row, The Food Pantry, Hellenic Art Theatre, Marrickville Community Nursery, Return and Earn, The Bower and Reverse Garbage as well as the host of an organic food market on Sundays.
There are plenty of activities to choose from throughout the Inner West Council’s Seniors Festival, including:
•All day $8 movie offer with free morning tea at Dendy Cinemas
•Enjoy the pool, classes and gym at Leichhardt Park or Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centres for free with a valid Seniors Card
•Give line dancing a go
•Enjoy the fast, fun and friendly competition of lawn bowls in a game of Jack Attack
•Learn the language of film making
•Participate in a fun theatre workshop
