Big Bike Day 2019

Big Bike Day returns to War Memorial Park in Leichhardt on Sunday, 22 September.
Big Bike Day is an all-ages cycling festival that welcomes everyone from seasoned riders to the completely inexperienced.
The annual celebration has a packed program including two feature bike rides:
A 7km ride at 12 midday through the inner west aimed at 12 years-and-up and led by the Police Bike Unit and bike user groups.
A 1.6km ride at 1.15pm along the separated Whites Creek Cycle Path, also led by the Police Bike Unit, aimed at children.
Also featuring at 2019 Big Bike Day:
• Bicycle-powered smoothies and coffee
• Bike skills workshops for people of all levels of experience – for those 12 and up
• Bicycle maintenance checks
• Face painting, bicycle decorating and unicycle rides
Big Bike Day is a fun event that highlights the thriving cycling community and demonstrates how cycling can suit old and young, singles and families.
Attendees can develop confidence and riding skills, chat with riders from all walks of life, and discover new bike routes that suit all needs.

Big Bike Day is part of NSW Bike Week 2019 (21 September-29 September) an annual statewide festival that celebrates all things bicycle-related.
