Australia Day event in Enmore Park

Inner West Council will mark Australia Day in Enmore Park with live entertainment, food and lots of free activities.
The day commences at 2:30pm with a Welcome to Country, a Citizenship Ceremony and the announcement of the Inner West’s Citizen, Senior Citizen and Young Citizens of the Year.
Kids are kept amused with jumping castle, giant slide, a playground, temporary tattoos, native Australian animals display and the Magic Yellow Bus. Plus, well know children’s entertainer Alex Papps features on the main stage at 4pm.
He’s followed by live music for the grown-ups from local chanteuse Martha, the captivating harmonies and hard driven rhythmic melodies of Dande and the Lion, 70s-80s-90s-noughties dance hit cover band Countdown Explosion and headliners Mental as Anything at 7:45pm.
International food for sale includes African cuisine, Spanish paella, traditional Indonesian dishes, Turkish gozleme and more. Fairy floss, ice cream and other refreshments will also be on offer.
The free event will round off with the annual fireworks display at 8:45pm.

Australia Day is a glass free event. Attendees are encouraged to BYO water bottle and walk, cycle or catch public transport. All scheduled performance times and artists are subject to change.
