Free School Holiday activities for children and teens
Inner West Council has an extensive calendar of free events to keep the kids and teenagers busy during the upcoming school holidays. Many activities will be in high demand, so bookings are recommended. All bookings can be made through www.eventbrite.com.au unless otherwise stated.
Explore colours and make your own yarn Mandala
Kids will make a ‘mandala’ inspired by the classic story, The Legend of the Paintbrush by Tomie de Paola and an ancient, meditative yarn craft, wrapping and weaving different coloured wool. Using rustic or more refined smooth sticks as a frame, every design is totally unique.
For children 8-12 years. Children 10 years and under need adult supervision.

Yoga for kids
Fun, interactive yoga workshop with a dance warm up, games, balancing, flowing sequences and gentle strength work. There will also be a relaxation/meditation element.
