No vote for most inner west residents

Most inner west residents will not be voting at the upcoming local government elections.

Residents of the former councils of Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville will not go to the polls on Saturday 10 September.

The next election for Inner West Council is in September 2017.

Only 81 of the 152 NSW councils are having elections in September 2016.

All NSW residents are urged to visit www.votensw.info or call 1300 135 736 to see if their council is having an election and whether they need to vote.
