Dust memories at Chrissie Cotter Gallery

Sarah Biggs’ solo exhibition, Dust memories will feature next at Inner West Council’s Chrissie Cotter Gallery.

Sarah’s work is characterised by an ongoing interest in the relationship between her painterly subjects and the natural world.

Sarah said, “Dust memories ties together imagined and recollected interactions between humans and the natural world.

“Tracing encounters beyond those visible to the human eye, these works explore ways in which other senses are woven into our experience of our surroundings.

“Painting exists as a threshold between these realities; a portal to the world to which the painterly figures belong; a way of seeing in which there is space for the invisible forces that move us”.
