Birchgrove wharf temporary ferry service disruption

Transport for NSW have advised that due to Western Harbour Tunnel investigation works there will be a temporary ferry service disruption at Birchgrove Wharf in Balmain. 

The F8 (Cockatoo Island to Circular Quay) service will not be able to stop at  Birchgrove Wharf from Monday 11 April 2022 for approximately three weeks.

Alternative public transport arrangements are: 

  • 441 bus service operating between Grove Street, Birchgrove and the QVB, to the city or to connect with other bus services on Victoria Road 
  • Balmain Wharf (the closest ferry wharf)
