Social Media guidelines
Inner West Council encourages conversation and welcomes the views and opinions of followers and page fans. The page is a forum for the community to discover, learn, engage and interact in a safe environment.
We may hide comments at our discretion if they don't contribute to the topic at hand. We may delete comments or posts that include, but are not limited to material, visual or written, which contain:
- sexually explicit content
- hate speech
- discriminatory statements based on race, gender, sexual preference or religion
- threat of vandalism
- graphic violence
- threat of violence
- illegal drug use
- bullying
- harassment
- a breach of privacy
- sensitive or personal information
- defamation or misleading information
- off topic repetitive or vexatious content
- any other inappropriate content as determined by Inner West Council
This applies to, in reference of, any individual, group or organisation.
A person may be banned or temporarily blocked from the page if they continue to breach these rules.
A message will be sent to inform of the breach and that any further infringements may lead to a permanent ban from the page.
