Marrickville Music Festival - EOI for Performers

A showcase of live music in Marrickville

Marrickville Music Festival is back in a celebration of the music, creativity and culture of one of Sydney's most colourful suburbs.

We are looking for expressions of interest from both established and up-and-coming local bands and musicians, community groups and DJs to showcase the best of original live music in Marrickville in a one-day event that will take over Marrickville Road and surrounding laneways. The event will run on Sunday 13 October 2024 from 12pm to 6pm and will feature multiple outdoor live music stages across the festival site.

Marrickville Music Festival is an opportunity for creative participation by all members of the community, supporting and witnessing the creative work made on local streets.

Priority will be given to artists with a connection to Marrickville or the Inner West LGA and those performing majority original music.

First Nations and artists from culturally diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The 2024 Marrickville Music Festival is proudly funded by Live Music Australia – An Australian Government Initiative.

To apply, please fill out the expression of interest form below.

Applications open: Monday 10 June 2024 9:00am
Closing date: Sunday 14 July 2024, 11:59pm
