Boost funding program

Inner West Council provides funding to local services and organisations to assist young people transitioning through the complexities of school to the workforce.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from services and organisations who support young people aged 10-25 years who are at risk of, or who are, disengaging from education, social connections, or employment.

Expressions of Interest for the Boost funding program should address these issues via:

1. Education, employment pathways and skill development

2. Mentoring, health and wellbeing

Your Boost Expression of Interest should aim to improve young people's skills, knowledge, qualifications, and confidence to assist them to continue with education or employment, and/or improve their life skills.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest for services, schools or groups to hold workshops or activities that could include, for example;

  • First aid training
  • Mental health workshops
  • Time management
  • Wellbeing and self-esteem program
  • Creative opportunities
  • White card training
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol training
  • Responsible Conduct of Gambling training
  • Barista training
