Inner West Council invites skateboard medallists to Leichhardt Skate Park

Inner West Council has today invited Olympic gold medal skaters Arisa Trew and Keegan Palmer to celebrate their success at Leichhardt Park Skate Park following their return from Paris.

The Leichhardt Park Skate Park has been open for just over a year following a decade of advocacy from Council and the community to get it built.

Since opening, the facility has been a huge hit with young skaters and the local community alike.

With the success of Keegan and Arisa, even more young people will be inspired to get off their phones and onto their scooters, skateboards and BMXs and facilities like Leichhardt Park Skate Park will be in even higher demand.
