2044 Street Takeover - EOI for workshop leaders

Calling all creatives! Inner West Council is on the look-out for creatives to deliver exciting and engaging public workshops at the 2044 Street Takeover.

Coming to May Street, St Peters on Sunday 3 November from 12pm to 6pm, the 2044 Street Takeover is where art and community unite for a unique celebration of postcode 2044! The 2044 Street Takeover allows the residents of postcode 2044 to reclaim the streets and celebrate the creative energy and identity of the Inner West’s Industrial heart.

Funding up to $3,000 is available to individual or groups to cover artist time and material required. You must include all required materials in your requested fee. The event runs from 12pm to 6pm, however you may run the workshop for any length of time within this slot that works for you.

Council can provide tables, chairs and a 6×3 marquee, however you are free to propose workshops that may move throughout the festival site. If you wish to run your workshop in an alternative format, please indicate in the form below. Power is not provided so workshops must be self-sufficient.
