Sustainable business consultations - Terms and conditions

1. You have been selected by Inner West Council to receive a free sustainability assessment to review and potentially assist you to improve your businesses environmental performance.

2. The assessments will be performed by Council’s sustainability consultant, 100% Renewables Pty Limited (ACN 609 550 610).

3. You will be contacted by 100% Renewables to arrange a time to visit your business and conduct the assessment. All future correspondence regarding the assessment will be between yourself and 100% Renewables.

4. In accepting for 100% Renewables to undertake the assessment, you acknowledge that Council has arranged for the assessment on your behalf but that Council is not performing the assessment. Council makes no warranty as to the suitability or accuracy of the assessment or any advice provided by 100% Renewables and Council assumes no responsibility or liability for any matters in relation to the assessment. You release Council from any liability which may arise with respect to the provision of the assessment and the use of any advice or results provided by 100% Renewables.

5. At the conclusion of the assessment, 100% Renewables will provide you with a report that may include potential actions you can take to improve your sustainability performance. In undertaking the assessment and providing this report, 100% Renewables will be relying upon certain information (including verbal information) provided by you. Unless otherwise expressly advised to you by Council, the scope of 100% Renewables engagement with Council does not extend to independently verifying the accuracy or completeness of that information. 100% Renewables is not required to provide you with an editable version of the report.

6. By accepting for an assessment to be performed, you consent to Council using your business name and information relating to your sustainability assessment in any promotional material or reports prepared by Council in relation to this project.

7. You agree that by submitting your application for a free sustainability assessment you confirm that you have no actual or perceived conflict of interest with Council or any of Council’s officers or employees and will immediately advise Council if any such conflict of interest arises during the performance of your assessment. You further confirm that your business is in full compliance with all applicable industrial instruments and operations.

8. Should you have any concerns regarding the assessment or the performance of 100% Renewables, please contact Kate Jackson, Coordinator Community Sustainability, phone 9335 2147 or email kate.jackson@innerwest.nsw.gov.au
