Mambo Brown Trio is Michael (mambo) Brown on Sax and vocals, John Maddox bass and vocals and Tim Bradley on Drums. Their music is a blend of songs and improvised music covering the genres of Jazz, Reggae, Ska, afro beat, soul anf funk. Check out their new Album A Bridge too Far.

Cone of Confusion is an intercultural Eora/Sydney-based project known for their eclectic blend of psychedelic music, prog rock, and jazz fusion. With a commitment to musical exploration and creative spontaneity, the band continues to push the boundaries of their sonic expression, captivating audiences with raw energy and authentic performances.

Carving its own sound of jazz-infused RnB, Monstress have been dazzling crowds across NSW. Leader Sarah Homeh drops silky lines and melodic hooks mixed with spoken word and rap verses. The all female and non-binary quartets improvised solos, lush harmonies, and jazz grooves immerse crowds in an unforgettable experience. Monstress have scheduled single release after release, starting with ‘Heather’s Diary’, a punk-funk-nu-jazz-jumptastic sonic experience.

Born from the need for more women in the choro scene in Sydney, this all-female group was created to bring a fresh, feminine touch to the genre.    The group features Sara Muller on flute, Laura Balthazar on clarinet, Bruna Rangel on guitar Fabiana Souza on cavaquinho, Alexandra Bastos on pandeiro and Lena Sturzenecker on rebolo. Their mission is to bring the beautiful choro genre to different audiences, enriching the cultural scene in Sydney while also encouraging women to play choro.

West Wind brings together a group of like-minded musicians who are anything but ordinary. They have earned a well-deserved reputation for effortlessly hijacking the groove, leaving their mark wherever they perform. With their signature blend of funk, nu-soul, downtempo, and dance, West Wind creates a sound that is entirely their own. Their musical journey has taken them from intimate house parties to sharing stages with stellar Australian acts like Winston Surfshirt, Pacific Avenue, Bag Raiders, The Vanns and Cut Copy. West Wind is restless and eager to unleash their infectious rhythm upon the masses.
