Inner West Live Music Activations provide funding and resource support for the Inner West community and Inner West creatives to deliver live music events across the Inner West.

Sham Fest will be a big two days at Petersham Bowling Club, showcasing an array of performers from the Inner West with a direct focus on diversity and participation. There will be workshops, activities, local brews and significant local live music across two stages.

Marrickville Pause: Art and Music from under the Flight Path

Marrickville Pause- A day of Music + Art from under the Flightpath" Gerald St, Marrickville. 12-5, Sunday 5th May.

Free, artist run event taking over Gerald Street in Marrickville and featuring a lineup of local bands on an outdoor stage! Check out local creativity at stalls and a pop-up gallery. Get screenprinting with Carizza Designs and print your own tote bag to take home. Save the date to come get amongst it, and stay tuned for announcements on instagram: @marrickville_pause.

Marrickville Pause is a free, inclusive and all-ages event. The event is supported by the Inner West Council via their Live Music Activation Program.

GENERATE Youth Festival

Generate Youth Live Music Festival is a youth focused music festival and will feature a jam-packed day of performances from local artists under the age of 18. The Festival will showcase the wealth of young talent in the Inner West and will be supported and created by emerging musicians and non-musicians with a budding interest to grow in the professional music and events industry.

Community Radio station 2SER 107.3 FM will present an afternoon of live bands and DJs to compliment the beautiful surrounds of Mort Bay Park with a live broadcast on 107.3FM and 2SER.com.

Bringing together sounds from across the station's diverse music programming, this free event will entertain music lovers with a taste of the eclectic local music heard on 2SER every day. Warm up your winter afternoon with 2SER In Your Hood! Stay tuned for the lineup announcement

Inner West Chamber Music Festival

Leichhardt Town Hall, Norton Street, Leichhardt

The Inner West Chamber Music festival is back! The event will showcase four incredible daytime concerts within the beautifully ornate Leichhardt Town Hall over one action-packed weekend. Presented as part of Inner West Council’s Live Music Activation program in partnership with The Metropolitan Orchestra, these FREE first-class, passion-fuelled chamber music experiences will shine the spotlight on TMO’s finest musicians who will appear in four uniquely different ensembles presenting music that is both engaging and distinctively captivating.

All shows are conveniently presented at midday and 3:30 pm (4 concerts total) so that audiences can spend the entire day with family and friends enjoying first-class music, as well as the fabulous local cuisine of Leichhardt. Registrations required, and opening soon.
