Economic Development Strategic Reference Group

The purpose of the Economic Development Strategic Reference Group is to assist Council with matters relating to sustainable local economy.

Assistance will be directed toward strategic initiatives and priorities that support employment and local economic activity.

Specifically, the Economic Development Strategic Reference Group will:

• Consider matters that impact on a sustainable local economy and provide input to Council on strategic initiatives and priorities
• Assist in building relationships and partnerships that contribute to a sustainable local economy
• Represent the views of all sectors of the business community on issues relevant to local economic development
