Where and when

Inner West Council, in collaboration with local young people and youth services, celebrates Youth Week from 9 April to 30 April with a wide variety of activities throughout the Inner West.

About Youth Week

National Youth Week is an opportunity for young people aged from 12 to 25 years to share ideas, attend live events, have their voices heard on issues of concern to them, showcase their talents, celebrate their contribution to the community, take part in competitions, and have fun!

Youth Week returns to the Inner West from 9 to 30 April, with a huge program of free events for young people aged 12 to 24!

This year's theme is: We are the future and the future is now!

Speaking 4 the Planet Youth Week Video Competition 

Enter our online video competition for young people aged 12-24! We want to see your 2 to 3 minute video about conservation and sustainability.

Recite a speech, a poem, crate a short film, or documentary, or use images to respond to this year's theme, Take Action. Inspire Action!
